Jan....with this picture...you almost steps into my office..it is just a few metres from there..and this area of the harbour is the scene I watch on from my office...
The picture must be from late 70's
The biggest gillnetter RI 388 Gitte Høj is today GR 6-2 "Knud Egede" of Nuuk....rigged for crab fishing...I saw her last in nov 2006..in Nuuk, where she was laid up.
The RI 334 was also a gillnetter....and as I remember she became RI 260 "Karl Enevold"...it was broken up few years back.
That part of the harbour is east of locks in the fjord...it is called Mamrelund.
