Lovely ships but when they were built (early 60's) the design and layout was of the old traditional layout - big difference between the "I" Boats ( Beautiful though they were!) and the Zealandic/Laurentic class built in 65 which were more functional with flush tween decks and hydraulic hatches throughout - plus AC in the accommodation "one block" layout. That said the funnels were ( if I remember right?) of a similar design ( although smaller on the newer tonnage).
