Built 1943 by Levingston Shipbuilding, Orange, Texas. Yard no 293.
Length = 26.02m, Beam = 7.03m
Commissioned as 'ST252' for U.S.Army (type 85 foot tug).
Sailed to Europe and participated in Normandy invasion.
1949 - sold to Belgium Govt. with sisters ST247 & ST253
1952 - 'Jakob', Denmark. Owner = Aahus Havns Bugsertjeneste, Aarhus. (Port tug)
1987 - 'Haahr Triumf', Denmark. Owner = Haahr Transport A/S, Vejle. (Based on Odense with bunker barge)
1991 - 'Louise Diver', Denmark. Owner = OCE Diving Services, Habro. (Worked Danish coast with floating crane)
2005 - 'Jakob', Denmark. Owner = Dansk Bjaengning og Bugsering, Aarhus. Vessel purchased by Danish Salvage and Towing at scrap value to prevent her being broken up. The Jakob Foundation was set up to restore her.
2009 - Vessel purchased by the foundation and moved to the Aarhus Maritime Museum.
