KÖNIGIN LUISE was the queen of Prussia when this country was invaded in 1806, called by Napoleon the only man in Prussia.
The ship - built in 1934 - has no connection with the Kaiser (and was no private yacht), but was a coastal passenger ship (service to Heligoland) of the Hamburg -Amerika Line. Taken over as minelayer in 1939 she struck a mine and sunk 25.09.1941.
