Lomé (pronounced "Lomay") is the capital of Togo, the small West African state squeezed in-between Ghana and Benin. Nigeria is two doors along to the west.
Togo offers one of the more 'mickey-mouse' flags of convenience.
The 52 year old ship pictured is actually owned in Norway.

This I believe is the vessel running through the Caledonian Canal with timber.since the canal opened up for trade,to remove trucks from the roads. In the local press she is supposed to do 5 trips a week.
