On sea trials in early 1985, by the way... the MARIELLA is still going strong after 28 years on the Helsinki-Stockholm line. She made a fine impression in those days by having a large amount of white marble floorings and glass attics in public spaces - which draw the attention to and by the Carnival Group ordering their first large series of their Cruise ships later built at Wärtsilä/MASA-Yards in Helsinki.
