Greetings Colin,
A nice photo and I hope you are keeping as well as you look in it....
I think I have asked you before - do you remember two ABs in MARY HOLT named Jack Price and Reg Gardner? They made many trips during 1960's..
Sadly they have both crossed the bar..
The photo was taken in Sapele ..Have you seen the photos I took when I was in DALLINGTON COURT in Sapele?
Benjidog has them in Directory Court Line ...
Looked a bit different in 1946..

Colin was Alan Atack ( Engineer ) with you on that trip ? Went to Sapole where he bought an African Grey ??

Stan, sorry for the late response,as just noticed your post. Stan, do not recall Jack or Reg, although they may well have been there, as my memory for names is terrible. I am sorry to hear of their passing. I know you know the master at that time, Willie Harrison. A real gentleman who I heard went to UASC. Yes, I have seen Dallington Court photos and related text. Great stuff,Stan as are all your postings. I read them all with interest. Regards Colin

Yes I knew Captain Harrison in MARY HOLT and saw him later in UASC - he was probably one of the first Masters in UASC when the company was formed..

HI,Derek. No I don,t remember Alan. African Greys were a popular purchase down the coast due mainlly to their great talking skills. Regards Colin
