Boat was built by russian master model ship builder entirely from brass. Aged with realistic rusting effects and other fine details are clearly visible throughout the boat. Scale: 1:27.

How about teling us where it is displayed, who made it, where the original fished, and a few things like that. It would make the pictures more interesting to many I believe.

An excellent model and in a very realistic colour scheme too.
I love those rust streaks and weathered look on the model...far nearer to the real thing than the pristine high gloss usually seen.

Stein...have a look at the parent site for the above model...absolutely superb models...way above mere mortals financially I would imagine but attention to detail is amazing.

Marvellous bit of work, in the right setting it would be very hard to tell the model from the real thing

It's magnificent craftsmanship, some models take few years to build. It's so happened that I know the person who built this ship model, and some of his work is for sale.

Mainly his work is displayed in museums all over the world and among privite collectors.
