Length : 435 feet ; beam 73 feet ; L.O.A. : 475 feet. Displ. 12.660 t. Complement : 743
Builder : Castellamare - Machinery 2 sets 4 cyl. Vertical inverted triple expansion = H.P. 19.000 = 21,5 kn. 2 screws. Coal normal 1.000 tons, max 2.000 t.
Guns : 2 x 12 inch, 40 cal 12 x 8 inch, 45 cal 16 x 14 pdr, 40 cal 4 x 14 pdr A.A. 2 x 3 pdr 2 x Maxims 2 landings Torpedo tubes (18 inch.) : 2 x submerged (broadside).

This ship saw action in the Italo-Turkish war of 1911/12:
- 05.10.1911 operating against Tobruk
- 18.10.1911 bombarding Bengasi
- 20.10.1911 bombarding Bengasi
- further action in that war may be bombarding the Dardanelles fortifications and helping occupying the Aegean islands, but couldn't find a proper confirmation on that until now.

- layed almost idle during WWI (shore bombardments on Austro-Hungarian coastline - Dalmatia - 1915-1918 said to be carried out, but I couldn't find a proper confirmation on that until now)
- reclassified as coastal defence ship in 1921
