152' 1983 Feadship designed by the late and famous Jon Bannenberg.

A significant design because it stood at the cusp of yacht design evolving from traditional 'motor yachts' into aesthetically modern, curve driven exercises that we have today. She has the hull and superstructure of a traditional Feadship or deVries but hinted at and attempted the curves and glass before the ability to achieve it in terms of materials technology was economically available.

To understand what I mean, look at the forward accommodation wall/windows in this link: http://www.superyachts.com/motor-yacht-3474/index.htm

then compare with the stunning breakthrough design of ECO when the technology was available (delivered in 1991) though it was admitted the cost was exhorbitant to create the reflective convex glass on a one-off basis. http://francisdesign.com/images/Katana%2035%20Knots%201.png

ECO took the glory and remains one of the most stunning yacht designs and creations of all time 39 kknots from 73m !

Paraiso and the mighty Bannenberg however sowed the seed that evolved into ECO.
