my impression is that this is Port Adelaide or maybe Melbourne river berths around 1870 or so.

Built 1863 by Thames Iron Ship Building Co.
Single screw vessel with 2 cylinder compound inverted engine. Operating steam pressure 25 psi, 12kts!!!! Was originally to be named Maharajah, registered Southampton for the Alexandria service and later (after lengthening re-engining) on the Calcutta- Suez service.
July 1889 sold for breaking up and it wasn't until 1892 that she was scrapped at Sunderland.
