Beautiful to see this one in the gallery. She`s now named SMS Kartanegara and still sailing in Indonesia between Java and Sumatra. Build in 1964, but still going strong.
She`s one of three sister vessels. At the photo you can see one of her sisterships, Prinses Beatrix or Prinses Irene. If the photo is made after 1988 it must be the Prinses Beatrix! The ships are berthed in Flushing innerharbour behind the office of the company who was called Provinciale Stoombootdiensten in the Province of Zeeland. The company stopped in March 2003.
