Hi Ninja:
A great photo. Heading out again, but where to......Melilla, Seven Islands, Bone, Narvik? Would she have been a similar build to Houlders O boats?

Hello Nova Scotia,

Yes, the Ravensworth was similar to the Houlders 'O' Boats, these were the small ore carriers which were built to be able to navigate the entrance to docks such as Workington, Port Talbot etc as opposed to the larger class of around 15,000 tons which included Houlders Joya McCance and Mabel Warwick.

Regards

Tom
