Guy in yellow T-shirt is Motorman Sam Barry. Sam was wll known in the RFA and his home town of Penrith, he crossed the bar a few years
ago.

A good photo Mick. Nice to see Jimmy Laird again. Assume this is in the late`80s.

Hi Jenxy,

I would guess it is the late 80s. There are other pics that show the Bosun's family too, and one or two other pictres of the lads. Mr G passed flash drive on to me with lots of Nostalgis shots and i will post many of them when i can.

I assume the retirement gift was a can of Tennents!

Hi Clanline,
One only received a can of Tennents if one donned a dress in the bar. I guess the gift is the decanter on the bar, i was not present at the time. A good pic though with a mix of people from all decks of the ship.
