Perfectly suited technique for a tile application Stephen. Would love to see done in a sepia tone.

Brilliant ~ as always ~ Stephen.

One word, if I may? Don't spend too many hours of darkness on the Delfts; we're none of us getting any younger.

Don, Sepia? I use 'neutral tint'. Not black... just shades of grey. When the factory takes over they take over and the tiles are fired in Delft Baluw. We did look at doing these two images in a shade of sepia and it didn't look very good so we will stick with the blue.

Thanks Grahame. Ah... lots of new works to do, as well as the Delfts. I've got at least 35 years to go, body willing! The works I want to do are on my 'bucket list'! ;-)

A beautiful strong but yet delicate watercolour. Love it.
I hope you post one time the burned result.

Two of the finest portraits of these ships I have ever seen. Your talent and affection for this subject continues to amaze me. Will you include the AQ in this group? Then let us know where to purchase them.
Great work Stephen,

Thanks for the 'chuckle' Stephen. My personal wishes that you attain the centenary date you have 'fixed'. Make sure that bucket containing your 'list' is stored somewhere you can not accidentally kick and ruin those plans.

Kindest to you and yours.

GGG. My bucket is more like 40 gallon oil drum. Hopefully I won't accidentally kick it over!

Watercolours. Well it is water but it is just one colour. I need to practice some more.

When the tiles are ready I will let you know but likely from Titanic Historical Society.

Stephen
