I went onboard her when she was at Folkestone (my home town) and it was very interesting, shame she had to go. The berth she occupied was leased to her for two years, when the lease expired she was given her marching orders, as the berth was required for vessels delivering ballast to the port.
She actually over-run the lease by several months because she had difficulty finding a new location, limited funds for the tow-job being the main problem. She very nearly went for scrapping when a compliance order was served on her, but managed to secure a new home in Medway at the 11th hour.
I can confirm that no-one lived onboard whilst she was at Folkestone and would be very surprised if anyone lodged there in later days, because in my humble opinion she was totally uninhabitable. She was a totally dead ship!
Nice to see a piccy of her again!
