don't know whether it's transfer print or original painting, but for 50p it was a bargain.

I would put my money on this being a transfer print but well worth 50p!

I wonder whether this is commemorating an event - or maybe its just a souvenier from a trip. If you do a search on "SS Snowdrop" there was a vessel of this name operating from Hartlepool. Don't know the dates though.

Looks like there is a fishing net being pulled in over the port side - unless I am imaging it.

It looks like they're hauling the herring on the port side, was this normal practice?

i think there's a very great deal of artistic licience as they call it in the critics world, but she doesn't have any gallasses for hauling a trawl net.coudn't resist buying it though.cheers,neil.
