The ship in the back ground is the MULL OF KINTYRE,of which was broken up in 1969,so it must be one of her .
The sweepers along side could be still of the BLACKFOOT SQD during there very last days .
Fond memories of 12 on /12 off at the Brent Spar in the early eighties on this vessel. That was a very hit and miss affair hooking up to the gantry to load over the bow then back to Teesport. Still, we did get extra leave because the work was so hard/cold!
