Building started as French seaplane tender, taken over by German navy and in service 1942 as fast escort.
Bombed and sunk 01.44 Gironde.

Hello KGVM,
Thanks for posting these pics. I have a WW2 German navy ship, a small(minesweeper) which was with the Viking Flotilla. Do you have any knowledge or know anyone who would know about the German minesweepers. I will endeavour to locate the pic, scan and upload it soon.

Being not the specialist I have at least some knowledge and will try my best. And there are others looking at the pictures of ship nostalgia, too :)
