In setting up to post I inadvertently cropped the title line off the postcard. However this is clearly exactly the same photo as that of Jamaica Producer. Were these two ships identical?

The Jamaica Pioneer (1931, 5,349GT, 386'bp x 54'), Producer (1934, 5,325GT, 411'bp x 54') and Progress (1934, 5,351GT, 393'bp x 54' ) were considered sisterships, but each varied in length.
All were built by Lithgows, Ltd., Port Glasgow, were single screw and powered with a quadruple expansion engine giving a service speed of 16 knots.
