Stern view of Albatross ex Leda at Piraeus

She was previously the well-known Bergen Line North Sea ferry Leda. She is seen here as the Cruise ship Albatross at Perama. She then went on to have many names. Allegro, back to Albatross, Betsy Ross, Ionian Dolphin, Amalfi, and Star of Venice.

Quite a transformation. She was a smart vessel as LEDA and enjoyed watching her movements on the Tyne.

Nice picture Bert!
I would never have recognised her if you had not mentioned her name.
Finnpartner, her original colours as 'Leda with Bergen line' was black hull, black funnel with three white bands.
Always was a good looker, Dads tug 'Impetus' of Ridley Tugs also had the same funnel marks and normaly assisted Leda to sail every Saturday from the Tyne Commissioners Quay for Bergen.
