How I like to remember her as the then 'mightiest' cruise liner on the planet!
She was at that time the fastest cruise liner only (27.5 knots) in the world.
(Known fondly by crew and passengers as 'The Big O')

The first P&O ship I ever sailed on (and the only Orient Line ship) - wonderful.
