THISTLEBRAE
Launched on 1 October 1928 by J. L. Thompson at their North Sands yard for Alan Black and Co.
In 1940 she was seized by the Germans at Trondheim and renamed Altkirch. She was at Trondheim in dry dock for repairs after being involved in a collision on 4 April. Her 33 man crew were all made prisoners of war.
Then in 1944 she was named Inster.
On 3 May 1945, just four days before the war in Europe ended she was bombed and sunk by British aircraft off Laboe (Kiel)
