No no Bill,I'm afraid you will have to have another look at the photo,they are at the broken quay and are on the bottom,the brickworks does look close right enough,will post another photo so you will see.
Would that be the same "hopeful" later owned by Johno Davidson fae Shapinsay before he had the "Argonaut" & "Flourish"?

The other picture you put in of Thurso harbour has the Amber Queen and the Crest but what is the one nearest the quay??

The Hopeful was built in Forbes Sandhaven in 1934 Keel 47.5ft LOA 52ft Beam 15.3 ft and draft 6.3 ft 22.56 Tonns Gross and Nett She was previously INS 69 when Wullie Simpson bought her 21/1/1953 and she was sold to John Davidson of Shapinsay 21/10/1962
