Nice to see a photo of her again,My late father was a a/b in her.In the 50's and I believe her skipper was a capt Grundy.

An old Chant . Many coaster owners had them , Everards , Metcalfe,s and a skipper in Cardiff owned one named Farringay. Nice to see a photograph of one , It been a while since i seen photos like this .

One of over 40 small prefabricated tankers built in 1944 to supply the allied invasion forces which were designed to carry fuel either in bulk or cans. Another 20 were completed as dry cargo carriers.A single Crossley engine of 220 bhp gave a speed of 7.5 kts.
