The Swedh cargo ship TRAVANCORE collided with the Greek AXIOS on 24th September 1952 just outside Hook of Holland. Her bow damage was repaired at the RDM yard.

Delivered in April 1944 to Svenska Ostasiatiska Kompaniet, Gothenburg.
1965 12. Sold to Rederi Ab Timex (Paul Pålsson), Gothenburg. Renamed BROFJORD.
1968 07. Sold to Partrederi Paul Pålsson, Gothenburg.
1969 05. Sold to Ignazio Messina & Co, Genoa, Italy. Renamed GIANCACARLOEMME.
1975 08. Sold to Acheos Maritime Ltd, Limassol, Cyprus. Renamed SPIRIT.
1976 05 15. Grounded on voyage Piraeus - Jeddah.
1976 06 18. Refloated but the ship had suffered severe bottom damage.
1976 07. Departed Jeddah for Piraeus, where the ship was laid up.
1978. Scrapped in Eleusis, Greece.
