Aground on a breakwater at Ostend on 4th March 1982. The passengers were disembarked by lifeboats. Five tugs could refloat her and she was repaired at Amsterdam at a cost of over £1,000,000. Back to service on 22nd April.

Apparently drifted while waiting off harbour entrance for departure of delayed vessel and got caught out by falling tide.
