Good to see the old girl is still in there when the whips are cracking.
Big lump she is......two x 2400 bhp 8 cyl Diahatsu's on Z peller system. 64 ton bollard pull and weighs over 1000 tonnes!
Equipped for outside salvage work and cat 2 firefighting. Built in 1987.
Many happy hours trundling around in her and when you wanted something moved....... she moved it. Interesting that they are indirect towing in this case.......they must have modified the fairlead at last. It was too sharp both on her and the Wyong and despite our pleas and demands nothing was done about it.
Looks like the new management know what they are doing and listen. Long may she continue to earn her keep.
