This is Tony Millen Here
I came out to New Zealand on the same ship renamed "Waitaki" on it's delivery voyage in 1964 and I would love to hear from any of the lads that where with me when we all paid of in Wellington that year with a no repatriation. I remember we where all going to get together after five years but it did never happen. I wonder what it would be like now as it is coming up to forty five years. My God dosn't time fly. I was one of the AB's and I often wonder about the other deck hand his name escapes me who suffered with the toothache. I felt sorry for him as their where no dentist's in the Atlantic ocean and he had to wait 'til Panama.
Well I hope I will hear from someone to find out what you all have been up too. My email Address is tonymillen@paradise.net.nz. Cheers everyone
