Ronnie.
Fantastic models and pics Ron, curious, How do get her in and out of the water, and how heavy is she.? hope you dont mind me asking.
All the best. Barney.
Hi, Barney. The model can be taken apart. The whole of the superstructure lifts off after unhooking the rigging, including the rattlins. The whole of the hull is accessable. I lift out all the lead ballast weights and the huge 30 amp hour dryfit battery! The hull has wooden bars across the inside with which I can carry it around. For transportation in the car I fold the rear seating down flat, and the hull slides in and up between the two front seats. When I'm driving I have the bow alongside my left shoulder! lol. The superstructure lies alongside the hull in the back with all the other Paraphinalia around it, including the model of the Thurstaston. The landing stage is in five parts; they, and the metal brackets that attach it to the lake wall, go in the trailer.
Ronnie.
