I classed this as the Temeraire outward bound from Sydney,although the Tourcoing and Talleyrand come close as well,also seen is what looks like an Orient line ship

A photo taken a few minutes later would have been very interesting. It looks very much as if there is about to be a close quarters situation with the passenger ship.
The photo is special because the "TEMERAIRE" was one of the first ships to pass under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Hence the crowded waters and the bunting on show. March 1932 according to the date on the photograph.
