There are errors in the dates of Neritina and Dolabella -
both were tankers of Anglo Saxon Petroleum Co.
While in Neritina I had volunteered for Special Duties which
was later in Dolabella ( Normandy Operations) so the errors
came from then.
My voyage in Neritina was 7th December 1943 to 1st May 1944.
My voyage in Dolabella was 20th May to 24th August 1944...
As noted in remarks- Medal Ribbons were presented to me soon
after the time I was awarded them but a shortage of metal meant
no medals were awarded until after the war -except those awarded for exceptional deeds of gallantry.
