1940 Due to WW II Norwegian NORTRASHIP London / new York became managers in April.
1942 Damaged by bombs in a Japanese air attack 13/02 whilst on a voyage from Melbourne, Australia to Palembang, Indonesia with aviation fuel. Sailed to Batavia, Indonesia and then to Colombo, Ceylon where she arrived 04/03. Was then ordered to Bombay, India for repairs. Sailed from Bombay 30/09.
1945 Reverted to owners in October.
1948 Transferred to Skibs-A/S Sangstad (A. F. Klaveness & Co. A/S, Lysaker / =slo), Oslo Norway.
1958 Broke in two 15/01 in heavy weather in position 38.24N-05.41E, southeast of Minorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, whilst on a voyage from Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia to Barcelona, Spain with fuel oil. 3 of her crew lost their lives. A French war ship sank the fore ship as it was a hazard for shipping. The aft ship was towed in to Bona, Mallorca where it arrived 20/01. After surveying it was declared a total loss..
The aft ship was later sold to Empresa Nacional Elcano, Sevilla, Spain for a possibly reconstruction with the name " VAL DE LUGEROS ".
Arrived Sevilla 04/05 but after examination the plans was abandoned and the wreck was laid up. Later sold to breakers.
