At a guess the port could be Valletta, Malta. Haven't the foggiest which ships/dates.

 

looks like Port Said but the small boats look like Gondolas so could be Venice ships look 50 ish

It is indeed Valetta. The three tankers are firstly in the foreground either Edenfield or Oilfield owned by Hunting & Son. Both were owned from 1947-59. In the middle there appears to be a BP tanker in pre 1955 colours. Furthest away is a A F Klaveness tanker likely Seirstad. I think the photo is probably early 1950s as Klaveness changed their funnel colours by mid 1950's but the date this happened is unknown to me.

I should know Taffe, not only I am from Malta but from where the photo was taken is my favourite 'observation ' post 😉. Was on tankers as well. Thanks wireless man.

 

The A F Klaveness tanker with the K in the funnel appears to be SEIRSTAD built 1937 Deutsche Werft,

Built in 1937 Built as " SEIRSTAD " by Deutsche Werft A.G., Finkenwerder, Hamburg, Germany for Universal Shipping Co. A/S (A. F. Klaveness & Co. A/S, Lysaker / Oslo), Oslo Norway. Launched 14/10, delivered in November
1940 Due to WW II Norwegian NORTRASHIP London / new York became managers in April.
1942 Damaged by bombs in a Japanese air attack 13/02 whilst on a voyage from Melbourne, Australia to Palembang, Indonesia with aviation fuel. Sailed to Batavia, Indonesia and then to Colombo, Ceylon where she arrived 04/03. Was then ordered to Bombay, India for repairs. Sailed from Bombay 30/09.
1945 Reverted to owners in October.
1948 Transferred to Skibs-A/S Sangstad (A. F. Klaveness & Co. A/S, Lysaker / =slo), Oslo Norway.
1958 Broke in two 15/01 in heavy weather in position 38.24N-05.41E, southeast of Minorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, whilst on a voyage from Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia to Barcelona, Spain with fuel oil. 3 of her crew lost their lives. A French war ship sank the fore ship as it was a hazard for shipping. The aft ship was towed in to Bona, Mallorca where it arrived 20/01. After surveying it was declared a total loss..
The aft ship was later sold to Empresa Nacional Elcano, Sevilla, Spain for a possibly reconstruction with the name " VAL DE LUGEROS ".
Arrived Sevilla 04/05 but after examination the plans was abandoned and the wreck was laid up. Later sold to breakers.
