This is a crop from a picture posted earlier that showed both the Queen Mary and Aquitania at Southampton in December, 1948. The original picture was taken from such a distance, I wanted to see if I could focus a high resolution scan just on the older ship, and then see if enough detail could be brought out using computer software. I think it came out alright, and with color views of this ship being so rare to begin with, every little bit helps.
