True, she was there to be broken up. She had arrived there on the 21st February.

I think that the point Graham was gently making is the American spelling of scrapping (scraping), which has a different meaning in English.

[COLOR="Navy"]Yes, you're right Malcolm and thanks for using the word 'gently', because that is how it was intended, tongue in cheek and digits firmly under the bonnet/hood. Ship shape and chip scrape were familiar words of a UK MN, 50's deck apprenticeship.[/COLOR]
