Yes, a nostalgic view from my chilhood! Bentago and Bencomo they took two different berths in Las Palmas. Firstly in container terminal LA LUZ, and finally in Muelle Grande for load tomatoes and other vegetables for Tilbury and Rotterdam. Them repeat same operation with two berths in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

A great service!

Thanks for sharing Trenor

Many years ago, I think it was in '92 or '93, I traveled with my mom by car from Szczecin to Rotterdam to join my dad, who was the captain of Bencomo. We parked the car on the ship's deck and set off on a voyage. First, we sailed to Newcastle, where the ship was painted and maintained in dry dock, and then we headed towards the Canary Islands.

I remember the stormy ocean with powerful waves, dolphins swimming alongside the ship, awesome views form the bridge, a room with instruments where I passionately played the drums, and cheerful Filipinos with whom I watched movies while snacking on fried pork rinds :D

Upon arrival, my mom and I got into the car, drove down the ramp, and explored all of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Wonderful memories...
