History
1911 06 10. Launched.
Delivered in September 1911 to Empresa de Nav. L. Lorentzen (L Lorentzen, Oslo), Para, Brazil.
1914. Transferred to D / S A / S Cratheus (Ö Lorentzen), Kristiania, Norway.
1917 09. Sold to A/S Egerö (Olsen & Ugelstad), Kristiania, Norway.
1920 01 01. Sold to A/S Luksefjell (Olsen & Ugelstad). Renamed LUKSEFJELL.
1924 10. Sold to A/S Det Nordenfjeldske D/S, Trondheim, Norway. Renamed KONG MAGNUS. Rebuilt and the new gross tonnage was 1410 (previously it was 1467).
1939 11 29. Grounded in Ullsfjord, Nord Troms. Managed to get rid of his own machine.
1940 04 09. On passage from Germany to Norway when Germany occupied Norway on April 9. KONG MAGNUS continued the journey to the Gullmarsfjord and was laid up.
1940 10 18. Together with a number of other Norwegian vessels that were in Sweden at the time, KONG MAGNUS was requisitioned by the Swedish state. These vessels were transferred to the State Traffic Commission (Swedish). The Swedish Transport Commission assigned some Swedish shipping companies the requisitioned / seized vessels as compensation for the Swedish vessels requisitioned by the Swedish state and the fleet. AB Svea was awarded KONG MAGNUS and four other vessels for compensation. Before the ship was put into service, she was towed to Gothenburg for a shipyard visit for repairs and the funnel was painted in Svea's colors.
1943 12. Underwent an inspection.
1944 10 21. Returned to Nordenfjeldske and deployed on the Hamburg line.
1951 10. Underwent classification at Trondheim Mekaniske Verksted and underwent a comprehensive rebuild which was completed in March 1952.
1957 04. Sold to Belgium for scrapping.
