Ben. She is a Floating Production Storage and Ofloading (FPSO) unit.

The modules on the upper deck form the oil processing train plus power generation plant, compressors, pumps etc.

The white deckhouse forward contains gas and fluid swivel modules.

The mooring system (turret) extends from the deckhouse through the hull in a moonpool. The turret is anchored to the seabed at the lower end and connected to the hull via a roller bearing at deck level. This allows the hull to turn through 360 degrees round the turret.

Oil flows from the wells, through the turet piping, through the swivels and is processed on deck, stored in the cargo tanks and pumped to offloading tankers.

Simple really!
