Last time I spoke to young George he was out in South Korea fitting out an oil rig for working off Russia. I will go and phone my Mum and see if she can shed a little light on this boat.

Cheers Robbie

Ok here's what my Mum remembers about her.

Built in the late 1940's or the very early 1950's and she's sure by MacDuff ( but could have been at Banff ) for James Runcie ( George Runcie's father ) and she was the last fishing boat to work out of Cullen full time. Fished as a Seine netter she had one haul that was so big that they could do nothing with it and had to tow the net into Cullen harbour.

If I remember i'll ask my Uncle George and see if he can remember any more.

Davie

**By the way Ally your right she was built as the Ha'Burn BF326
