22 Dec 1925. "Mary Bridge" (1915, 164 grt) described as barge, sloop rigged (but she evidently has two masts, so ketch?) was being towed by SS "Dinah Leetham" (1915, 165 grt) (same owners, Henry Leetham, Hull) towards Whitby in E. gale when driven ashore at harbour entrance. Crew rescued by Whitby lifeboat. "Dinah Leetham" survived, "Mary Bridge" not.

A bit more info there, eddyw, for all the world I thought it was a motor vessel so if it was under tow will explain the absence of sails.I found a few pics. of her on the net so I will post another one which shows a steamer further up the harbour and the Marybridge seemingly left to her fate.
