ROXBURGH CASTLE

ROXBURGH CASTLE

The 1945 built ROXBURGH CASTLE was photographed, seemingly at a French port, by the late Richard Parsons. The ship was scrapped at Shanghai in the second half of 1971.

Dont think it is a french port.
The tricolour is actually the T flag with E beneath it TE meaning please pass me slowly. The Clan R astern has the same flag hoist.
I think it might be Southampton, almost certainly UK as no courtesy ensign is being flown and TE is always flown at Southampton.

Was she one of those ships where if the Second Mate put the kettle on the radar would trip out?
