Bought recently on TradeMe. Name on back says 'Triaur', of A. Kirst & Co. The previous owner of this pic & others was a notoriously bad speller. I've tried many variant spellings on Miramar with no luck. Looks German or Scandinavian. Smoke at stern would appear to be from a shore-based chimney.

[COLOR="Blue"]Hi Brent, I have found one picture of the 1923 built 'Trier' HERE .
Doesn't look like a good match....
Regards, Rick

No, not "Trier", which looked differently.
Very probably "Trave" of NDL, built 1927-28. In 1938 rebuilt and renamed "Regensburg". Blockaderunner during the war, scuttled near Island 30.03.43.
