Dom, The caption could have been clearer. Built 1956, photo taken, as you say, 1960. Sold 1964 to Corporacion Peruana de Vapores, renamed "Perene", 1969 "Agis Asteriadis", 1974 "Pola". 2 March 1979 arrived Bombay with machinery damage. Sold breakers, towed to Kaohsiung. Ship at right is "Boogabilla" and the tall funnel belongs to the coaster "Pakura".

Sometimes confusion arises because the launch date falls in the year prior to the completion date. Troutpool was launched in 1955 - you'll see it was fitting out at Clark's engine works on 30th September 1955:

By 21st January 1956 it was no longer in the river. I have no data between those two dates.

I joined her in Sunderland January 1956. She was fitting out in Sunderland. I was on board from January to April 56 as E.D.H. You're correct Dom, we were carrying coal from Norfolk and Newport News back to Rotterdam and U.K. I actually paid off in Manchester. Must have just missed you Dom.

Best regards.
