Unknown ship

I have posted this photograph on Clydesite and Clydemaritime to try and identify the ship and or the owners but so far no luck. She is seen berthed at Greenock loading containers of whisky on what was supposed to be a regular service but this failed and this was her only call. It was some time in the 80's and John Cassels thinks it could be Mexican funnel markings. If anyone has any further info it would be appreciated - Peter

Peter , I think she is Spanish built by Astilleros . I'm going by the openingsbelow the Poop , plus that funnel . Also, the Bridge board seems to show a vessel that has a name comprised of two words with the first one being about three letters. If I have any more thoughts I'll be in touch. hopefully before then someone will come along with the definitive answer.
