Early 1960's Wijsmuller salvage tug. Probably Groningen or Gelderland. Doesn't look quite big enough to be one of the larger two vessels of this class, Jacob van Heemskerck or Willem Barendsz.

Four very classy looking tugs, as were many Dutch salvage tugs of that era.

There were actually four smaller ones: Gelderland - Groningen - Noord-Holland and Friesland. The photo shows three large size windows in the superstructure on the main deck. The two bigger boats had 4 in a different configuration. These are sometimes obscured since during bad weather they were closed off with plating - regards - Job
