I was in this ship several times as a deck officer-- 105,000 dwt-- I loved this ship, and had some of my happiest memories as a late teens/early twenties male in her in the 1970s. She was apparently sold on later to Ben Line before becoming the "Global" ships. There was a sister ship several years later, "Alnwick Castle"
Anwick Castle was bareboat chartered to the Australian National Line and sailed for many years on the Hedland~Port Kembla iron ore run. Last saw her in the early 80s of Pusan under the Korean flag.

Dunstanburgh Castle was aquired b Ben Line in 1976 and retained her name until being sold in 1981 and scrapped in 1994
Alnwick Castle was similarly aquired and renamed later as Benwyvis
Another "Castle" was the Ros Castle which became Benledi in 1976, she was sold in 1984 and later scrapped in 1999. These ships were sold off at the begining of the demise of Ben Line as a ship-owner.
